Chrome Dentures

Chrome dentures can be made much smaller, thinner and less bulky, yet are still stronger than conventional acrylic dentures. This allows more of your palate to be exposed which helps with speech and increases your ability to taste foods.

Although the base is made from chrome, acrylic is then used to attach artificial teeth to the metal framework. Your natural teeth provide extra retention for a chrome denture and more importantly distribute the load and stress of the chrome denture. This prevents the denture from compressing and damaging tissue surrounding those teeth.
